DUBAI – flydubai, the Dubai-based carrier, has reinforced its commitment to safety excellence by signing the International Air Transport Association (IATA) Safety Leadership Charter, a global initiative designed to promote leadership-driven safety practices across the aviation industry.
The charter was signed by flydubai’s Chief Executive Officer, Ghaith Al Ghaith, marking a significant step in the airline’s mission to strengthen its safety culture and operational integrity.
Joining over 150 airlines worldwide, flydubai now stands among the carriers dedicated to advancing a global safety-first approach that prioritises both passenger and workforce wellbeing.
What the IATA Charter means
Developed in collaboration with global aviation stakeholders, the IATA Safety Leadership Charter encourages visible leadership engagement and accountability throughout every level of airline operations. Its guiding principles emphasise the need to lead by example, foster organisation-wide safety awareness, and continuously assess and improve safety culture.
